The recent update to Gemini for Android has introduced significant changes to the chat interface, enhancing the visibility of sharing and overflow menu options. The chat title is now left-aligned, and a new chat button is positioned alongside it, streamlining user interactions.
This redesign replaces the previous centered title layout, which utilized a bottom sheet menu for options. The share button now generates a link directly and opens the system sheet, while the traditional three-dot icon provides access to functions such as Pin, Rename, Delete, Help, and Feedback.
Meanwhile, the Gemini app for iOS received an update earlier this week, marked as version 1.2026.0570001, which notably enlarged the size of the Gemini spark, aligning it more closely with the design of other Google applications.
Though the new share and overflow icons are available on gemini.google.com, they have not yet been implemented in the iOS version of the app. This update is part of a broader strategy to enhance user experience across Google's platforms.
